GOLFVIEW

Golfview is a Newbuild Commission which Crown was the principle contractor on in Skelmorlie, North Ayrshire. The development proposed a new luxury 3 bed house complete with driveway to front and landscaped garden to the rear of the property. 

A custom timber kit was installed in order to achieve the clients vision by optimising the use of space on this relatively tight plot. Solar panels were installed on the roof to conform with planning consent, which dictated adding a renewable energy source. Planning was also only granted on the provision that the exterior of the development was completed in a modern style, to compliment surrounding properties. However, the clients interior design scheme called for a number of period features, not normally found in a newly constructed home. As such we worked closely with the client to implement a more creative vison for the home. Notable interior features we were able to create for the clients where;

• Period oak framing along walls, openings and ceilings.

• Oak doors complete with stain glass.

• Oak & Glass Staircase.

• Tailored wall panelling.

• Specially commissioned stone fireplace complete with bear carvings and oak mantle.

• Rustic lime plater finish

• Commissioned furniture pieces such as sideboard, dining table, & bookcase.

The client was delighted with the final project, given the close collaboration that we had in order to realise their vision.  It is unusual within the new build housing sector for a single integrated contractor to carry out a seamless operation, from site clearance to installing a bespoke customised interior. This capability alongside our commitment to fine craftsmanship and only using quality materials is what makes Crown standout (our unique selling point).
